Our baby

So we are expecting a baby in May. We found out today that it is a baby boy! Apparently it's my lot in life to be surrounded by strapping men! I'm not going to lie, I wanted a little girl badly! But everything looked great with the ultrasound and it looks like our baby is healthy and we are truly grateful for that! We are looking forward to the arrival of our little guy in May! Until then we are going to focus on names and start preparing for his arrival.

On Thanksgiving Troy surprised me by proprosing to me. Buffy was sweet enough to video it for us. It's a little shaky because she was crying but she captured the moment nonetheless. Thanks Buffy! I want to thank the entire Young family for being a part of our special moment and I'm so happy that I am a part of you. I love you all.

Braxton the Cowboy/Skater

The other night, Braxton put his cowboy hat on and started acting like he was roping. He said, "See mom, I'm holding my horse and roping!" I thought it was amusing considering he has a skateboarder shirt on! I guess he'll be a kid of many hobbies!

New Beginning

Troy and I have started our new adventure together. Hand in hand we have begun to journey into the unknown and are living our lives with faith and hope that we will continue to have the new found happiness and joy that we have come to know the last couple months. While there have been hardships and trials, sadness and tears, judgment and conviction...the happiness that overcomes those moments is worth every second. We will always hold dear to us the people that have loved us no matter what and have carried us when we thought we couldn't take it anymore. It is because of you and our faith in eachother that we are standing together today. We are looking forward to the many adventures that await us and we will post those adventures here. So welcome to our life! We're so glad you're a part of it.
