Our Blessing

Dawson Clem Young was born on April 28, 2010. He weighed in at 8 pounds and was 19.5 inches long. My c-section was scheduled for the 29th but he wasn't about to stay in there another day. We headed to the hosptial at 3:00 in the morning on the 28th due to contractions and he was born at 4:52am. It's a good thing I had to have a c-section because he was footling breech!! We are very blessed and so thankful that he is finally here with us.

Easter 2010

Easter was a fun time at Nana and Papa's house. They hid Easter eggs for the kids and then we had a family lunch. Thanks to Nana and Papa for making Easter so fun!

Our Wedding

Troy and I were married on March 26, 2010. It was a small ceremony with some of our family members attending (we greatly missed the family that couldn't be there)! It was a beautiful ceremony and I was excited to become Mrs. Troy Young and I think he's pretty excited to call me his wife! By the way...please no comments on my chewed off, unmanicured nails in the ring pic!

Tanner Basketball

Tanner had an amazing basketball season. Starting varsity as a sophomore, he showed his athletic ability over and over again. The Grizzlies ended up losing the district playoff by a heartbreaking 2 points. He played so good throughout the season and we are so proud of him. He was an absolute joy to watch and we are already excited for next season!

Riding Horses

Last fall my little brother Gavin asked Troy if he could ride his horses some time. Troy was happy to let him. We headed down to Troy's and Gavin rode his first horse. For those of you who don't know my little brother, he believes the only cool cowboys are the Dallas Cowboys and he believes with all his heart that he is a gangster! He teases Troy about his cowboy hat and boots and having horses. Well, after Gavin rode the horse, he asked when we were going to actually go on a ride and not just around Troy's yard. Troy teased him about liking it and promised we'd go for a real ride one of these days. Don't worry, I'll capture that day on camera too! It was my first time on a horse and I have a lot to learn! Braxton also got on a horse for the first time as well. It was a fun day!

Christmas 2009

Christmas was fabulous like always. It was me and Troy's first Christmas together and we had a great time with my family. We didn't get Brax until the afternoon so waking up christmas morning without him was very hard for me. But I finally got him and he tore into his presents. I'm very disappointed with my picture taking this year. I didn't capture a whole lot of pictures but I did get some.

Tanner's Football Season 2009

Tanner played varsity football this year and did a great job. He was plagued by some injuries but pulled through them like a champ. It was so fun to watch Tanner play and we are so proud of him!
