Arizona

In November, Troy, myself, Braxton, Damien and Summer, Josh and Lexie and Chance loaded up in an Expidition and headed out on a 14 hour trip to Arizona. We traveled through the night and finally reached our destination of Queen Creek Arizona the next morning. There were hugs all around as introductions were made and Troy was requainted with his family members. Braxton was introduced to many new aunts, uncles and cousins and a fabulous new grandma. I felt so blessed to be able to watch Troy interact with his family. It was a lot of fun for all of us. The trip was filled with lots of visiting and laughter along with happy tears when Troy proposed to me (see video below if you haven't seen it yet) and a lot of unhappy tears when Tyson broke his ankle. The night of Thanksgiving we all went to a local park and played Volleyball. The volleyball game ended and some of the family started playing basketball and that game ended abruptly when Tyson came down on his foot wrong and broke his ankle. Tyson apparently doesn't do things half way! He ended up being hauled off in an ambulance, admitted to the hospital and had to have surgery to fix it! It was quite the night! We stayed with Elton and Buffy and appreciate them so much for letting us stay. We hope to get back to Arizona in the very near future. We weren't able to see Tanya because she had other Thanksgiving plans. Troy missed his sister but we hope to see her on our next trip!
